Frequently asked questions
Do I need to subscribe to Starter?
No. Every organization without an active paid plan uses Starter automatically. When a paid subscription ends, the organization returns to Starter.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Stripe subscription changes follow the billing period, and an expired subscription falls back to Starter.
What counts as an App?
One App = one Apple App ID across all storefronts. Multiple markets under the same App ID count as one.
How is Scale managed-spend overage calculated?
The first $10K of organization-wide automated managed spend is included each month. The $10K–$50K portion is 1.5%, $50K–$150K is 1.0%, and spend above $150K is 0.5%.
How are non-USD accounts billed?
Managed spend is converted to USD using the fixed exchange rate configured for the billing period. The bill records the source currency and rate used.
